David Noel Zike, born 1962 in Quantico, Virginia, is an aeronautical engineer. After schooling in Virginia, South Carolina and Washington, he earned a B.S. in mathematics from Whitman College and a B.S. in civil engineering from Washington State University. He has worked an aeronautical engineer in Washington, New Zealand and Ireland. He currently lives in Seattle, Washington. He was married in 2007 to Una Mary Butler at Ballintubber Abbey, County Mayo, Ireland There is one child of the marriage : Lola Saoirse Zike
