Will Todd Photos

The Will Todd photographs are made available to the society through the generosity and assistance of Billie Todd and Elaine Todd Trench.  These images, taken over 100 years ago, show both sides of the western branch of lower Robinhood Cove.  The right photograph was taken from the rear of the mill house looking westerly towards Georgetown Center.

The photograph below is the reverse view of the left showing the mill and the mill house on the eastern shore.  Remnants of the tidal dam that harnessed the tide to power the mill depicted here can be seen today  as you pass over the bridge at the bottom of the hill in Georgetown Center.

Archival prints of these two photographs have been reproduced for the GHS.  These reproductions capture the amazing clarity of detail shown  in the originals.  Each print measures 11-by-14 inches and is mounted on 16-by-20 inch mats, ready for framing.

These scenes of Georgetown, taken before the turn of the twentieth century, make a wonderful gift or addition to any home.  Each print is priced at $35.00
